Curriculum
Trans Tech Logo
Currently, we offer two career pathways, Pre-Engineering and Electro-Mechanical Technology Training. Within each pathway, there is a series of four classes that students take. For example, in Pre-Engineering, we use the Project Lead the Way curriculum in which students take three foundations courses, Introduction to Engineering, Principles of Engineering and Digital Electronics. Then the student can choose a specialized course in Aerospace engineering or civil engineering. In EMTTP, students take their first two classes in Electro-Mechanical Technology Training on site at Cardozo and then the remaining two classes are taken at a Metro facility in Landover, MD.
