Mr. Laddie E. Irion, Vice President and Director, Air Transportation Business Line of URS Corporation was the Brown Bag
Luncheon Speaker for the month of January. URS is a global consulting firm and a leader in airport and aviation development services. The firm is an authority on all facets of airport development, including master planning, environmental assessment, airfield civil engineering, architecture for terminals and hangars, airport systems design, and program and construction management. In addition to development services, URS also has expertise in operating and managing airports. URS has nearly 70 years experience at over 400 airports and military facilities worldwide. Mr. Irion shared his experiences with approximately 25 TransTech seniors who participated in the Luncheon. His use of Google Earth to show students satellite pictures of the Airports in Japan and Las Vegas, NV was fascinating.
