TransTech Girls to Participate in Howard University Engineering Day

TransTech will participate in Howard University’s College of Engineering, Architecture and Computer Science (CEACS) Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day as a part of National Engineers Week. Howard University will sponsor 8 female students from TransTech to attend this fun-filled day of engineering. National Engineers week is February 15- 21, 2009 (eweek.org). Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day will take place on Wednesday February 18, 2009 on the campus of Howard University. The event is sponsored by the Society of Women Engineers along with the National Society of Black Engineers, and the engineering sorority Phi Sigma Rho Inc.
